Barber cashing in on rugby fever for funds
|
 |
A Telford barber is capitalising on rugby
fever by auctioning off a signed England rugby shirt to raise money for a
special school.
Madeley barber Colin McCormack with the signed England rugby shirt
Colin McCormack has so far had bids of up to £260 for the 1999/2000 shirt,
which has been signed by a multitude of stars including Jonny Wilkinson and
Jason Robinson.
He is now hoping to attract even higher bids before the auction deadline on
January 4. |
All funds raised will be put towards buying
equipment for the Bridge School in Stirchley.
Colin, who owns Colin's Barbers in Halesfield Road, Madeley, said: "The
shirt is available for inspection at the shop is anyone wants to come and
have a look at it.
"I am now accepting offers of £10 more than the price currently bid - that
way we will be sure to raise even more money for the school," he added.
All bids can be sent to Colin via post or by logging onto his website at
www.colinsbarbers.co.uk and should be submitted by January 4.
