Ern has not been to the barbers for 30 years - and it shows. He decided that if his hair was to be cut then it would be for a good cause and set about raising sponsorship for a head and beard shave. The chosen cause was to help raise awareness of testicular cancer in young men. On Wednesday 10 April 2003 Ern had a haircut................ Before: During & after: See the video Broadband 56k As a result of his efforts Ern raised over £500 for The Teenage Cancer Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham where his nephew had recently undergone treatment for testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is a form of the disease that many men are embarrassed to talk about. It is most common in men between the ages of 20 and 34. As a result many find out about it when it is too late.
