From time to time articles are published elsewhere that are of relevance to the content of this web site and, it is hoped, will make the visit to this site more interesting.
Prior to January 2005 it was our practice to link directly to the article whilst giving full accreditation to the publisher. However, it has become more and more common for these articles to be short lived, resulting in dead links and a
loss of archived information. This particularly applies to on line newspapers, magazines and broadcasters.
We have now changed our policy. We will now reproduce the content of the article, unedited, whilst still giving full accreditation to the publisher. The publication's banner will be displayed prominently at the head of the article and
the banner will link to the Home page of the publication. We will no longer link directly to the article itself.
We believe this new arrangement is to the benefit of the visitors to both this site and the publisher's site with the primary advantage of generating fewer
404 error pages.
We fully acknowledge the copyright of the publishers concerned and if any publisher objects to the reproduction of their work they have only to send us
an email and the article will be removed without question.
