This year, for Comic Relief, I was happy to support the efforts Shirley Bailey and the Asda Store, Donnington Wood. I am pleased to say that the public got fully behind the event but one customer went even further. When she saw that Shirley was having a head shave she decided, on the spot, to have her's done too! Below is an extract from a letter received from David Simmons, Asda's Events Co-ordinator:

"I am sure that you will be pleased to know that thanks to Shirley Bailey and your
expertise as a barber/showman/crowd puller, the sponsored head shave raised the
magnificent sum of £387.89. Other collections around the store produced the grand
total of £753.89."
